The NHS Technology Adoption Centre (NTAC) has reviewed over 200 healthcare technologies from NHS partners and medical technology companies. Ten technologies have been selected for 'Technology Implementation Projects' in a wide range of real-time clinical settings in the NHS. NTAC are currently working with teams in the Implementing Trusts to:

• Manage the implementation and systems integration issues.
• Identify where additional changes to clinical pathways and services are required.
• Unlock the full benefits of the technologies.

Where technology adoption within the above Technology Implementation Projects are successful, NTAC will produce 'How to Why to Guides' to provide comprehensive, relevant information for clinicians, managers, key decision makers and other stakeholders, on how to implement specific technologies.
