The technology Adoption Assessment collects further information that is available from NTAC sources to prepare a 'Case for Adoption' to be used to engage first adopter sites ahead of a controlled implementation programme.

Implementation includes:

• Implementation planning - culminating in a business case for commissioners and providers to consider and approve ahead of implementation and an implementation plan.
• Implementation Management - is project management of the controlled implementation of the technology in selected first adopter sites and evaluation of the outcomes culminating in an implementation pack for use to engage with more NHS sites.
